Deze bouwdoos is er in twee versies: eentje waarbij de kast nog zelf gebouwd moet worden en eentje waarvan de kast al in elkaar is gesoldeerd.

Als je eerder de Gooische Stoomtram 18 (GS) van de Tramfabriek hebt gemaakt, zul je wellicht verrast zijn door het kleinere model en de hoeveelheid kleine details bij ‘Silvolde’. Het neemt iets meer tijd in beslag dan de GS, vooral omdat je rekening moet houden dat de hoeken van de kasten niet los gaan bij het solderen van de kleine onderdelen op de koppen. Maar de stap-voor-stap handleiding zal je voldoende tips geven om het met voldoende zelfvertrouwen te kunnen bouwen.

Je kunt de kleine onderdelen ook lijmen, maar ik soldeer ‘m liever. Het is allemaal redelijk rechttoe rechtaan. Mocht je een stuk zo verprutsen dat het niet meer bruikbaar is, stuur dan even een mailtje, dan lossen we dat even op. Begin er gewoon aan, bouw rustig en lees de handleiding nauwkeurig. Je zult zien, het model is je tijd waard.

De nummers, tussen haakjes achter de onderdelen, refereren naar het nummer op de onderdelenlijst. 

Bij elk plaatje geldt: als je er op klikt, krijg je deze groter in beeld te zien.

This kit comes in two versions: one where you have to build the box yourself and one where the box has already been soldered.

If you have made the Gooische Stoomtram 18 (GS) before, you probably will be surprised by the much smaller size and the amount of small details of ‘Silvolde’. It does take a bit more time to build it than the GS, as you have to be careful the corners of the box stay connected when soldering the small parts.  But the step by step manual will give you enough tips to get on with it with enough confidence.

You can glue the small parts, but I prefer to solder the whole thing. It is pretty straightforward. If you destroy a piece which becomes unusable, send me an email and we’ll sort something out. Just start with it and take your time, following the instructions carefully. You’ll see, the model is worth your time.
