KASTENLOK INDEX

December 2nd, 2023 at the Village Hall in Rattery

With the Rattery Little Train Show, we like to entertain and inspire you. For the first time ever, Rattery is host to a unique scale model train event. At this show, the Dartmoor 009 Group will show you their biggest modular layout ever! The record so far is 18 modules, so that must be broken. The scenes depict the Devon country side, which several modules based, or inspired on, real places in Devon. But that was not enough for us! More exhibitors like to charm you with the opposite: micro layouts that can fit in any room. Come to see the marvellous work our exhibitors have made with  passion. Enjoy some lovely conversations with them and maybe you’ll be all fired up to make your own little diorama.

Wait, there is more! Rarely you’ll find a large 1/76 scale remote control racing track at an event where you can control a racing car and race against other visitors. Choose a Mini Cooper or one of the fancy sports cars.

What, even more?? Yes, for anyone who feels inspired to create something at the spot, we have boxes with Lego set up on the tables to let your mind go wild.

Kids go free!

When was it: Saturday, December 2nd from 10am to 4pm

Food & Drinks

There will be tea, coffee and cakes available (as long as stock lasts).

Who is organising the Little Train Show?

In order to get his friends of the 009 Dartmoor Group to set up their fantastic layout and to run his own model trains on it, the Tramfabriek decided to organise an event for them. And because the lovely people of Rattery are a great and warm community, it’s the best place to organise this event. We really hope the local community will turn out and enjoy what is on show. It is organised so it’s not only appealing to the train fans, but a great joy for young and old.

How much does it cost?

Adults: £2.50

Children 17 years and under: Free

Hope to see you on the 2nd of December in Rattery!

Best wishes,

Sven van der Hart
