Installation instructions

This upgrade is easy to do. I don’t have the original housing of the model, so I can’t tell you how to remove it, but it shouldn’t be difficult. Then take the old motor out and test fit the new motor assembly. Use a 9V battery to test the running, while holding the motor in place. If it all works fine, use epoxy glue to glue the motor in place. The worm should have a bit of play on the gear. It should not be a tight fit. But if you keep the motor straight, this should be a natural occurrence.

This motor upgrade kit can very well be converted to DCC. Check the digital setting page, for many decoders, to get the best driving experience.
